Re: “El Paso County Sheriff's tax referred to November ballot

Just say no people to the extension of PST.

There is no accountability or transparency by this sheriff as promised from day one for the spending of 1A funding. What is elder and the commissioners hiding from the citizens. There is so much over spending on feel good items, how about spending the money to train, outfit, and manning levels where law suits are reduced. We know you have an issue with professionalism of those recently promoted, so what are you going to do? Keep making excuses.

Sorry old man, I for one cannot support extending the PST with no accountability just so you can get a pension. You are so undeserving of this as well as being in the position of sheriff. I will be writing in my choice in Nov, but no way can I vote for you. You are like the character in charlie brown, pigpen. You are always walking around in a cloud of dust. You create more dirt and less clarity everywhere you go along with all your decision making. You hide behind the title of sheriff instead of being a professional.

Walk away now, you are not building up this office, you are destroying it. So sad to see.

Re: “CSPD report on Micah Flick's shooting portrays scene of chaos

Lets make the entire PD report available. Its been released and all the media outlets make one 20 second blurb and its forgotten. How about it Gazette, you going to let this story die now that the report is available, but yet you chooses to protect elder. What does he have on all of you that you are afraid to do real reporting. Might as well close shop and leave town, you provide no real news here. Help us here Pam.

Re: “CSPD report on Micah Flick's shooting portrays scene of chaos

Great reporting Pam, and this is only the initial information coming out of the CSPD report. Its already matching everything you have written about before. So Sheriff, everything you have been saying is not true and what you have told the family is all coming out and what they were told was not the truth. Sure looks like the walls are crumbling and what are the commissioners going to do now.

Timing is everything and your time has come and gone. So bye bye, man up and resign, its only going to get worse.

Re: “A deputy-caused crash, baby born in jail toilet, inmate's lost leg, and a brain injury among claims that could cost the county millions

All this happened under elder's administration and protected staff at the jail. AMAZING!! Looks like today king will be gone, and a new set of issues will be arriving with the next promotion. Sure has been quiet about this one. More untrained leadership issues? You can bet on it.

Re: “Happy Belly Tacos announces planned opening, pop-up dinner

Piglatin caribbean and pork belly tacos are the bomb. How can you go wrong with either. I enjoy being so close to the restaurant, but also enjoy the atmosphere of a food truck. See ya all soon.

Re: “Bill designed to provide objective oversight of officer-involved shootings not always followed

What a circle jerk going on with the Flick shooting investigation and release of completed autopsies. You have a shooting where both CSPD and EPSO personnel were involved, and you have them doing their own officer involved shooting investigation. What a sham and a fake investigation. We already know bill and pete are tight enough to lie for one another, then you throw in dan may, who runs the smoke machine for both. Primary night you saw the small gathering for elder and who were all hugging and patting each other on the backs, the three stooges.

I am appalled the Attorney General or CBI was not called in to perform a complete and open investigation, but the way this was done screams conspiracy and hide the facts because there are so many things done wrong. How about an outside special DDA review this case and convene a grand jury? What is there to hide or what are these three agencies afraid of. Its called integrity, and it shows none of this is going on in the administrations of the EPSO, CSPD , or the EPC District Attorney office.

Re: “Sheriff Elder fires Duda, after he tells Indy about political "retaliation"

Elder's whole term and career has been covered in questional behavior when he left the office the first time. He left because of actions while he was in VNI and was not just the timekeeping of a timecard, there was more. Ask him sometime about how after a late night operation while driving back to the office, he intentionally ran over a cat and then bragged about it after. Big man bill, we know you are a vile and sick individual, but PD's guys on your team brought this up and described you as one sick individual.

Now you are working your ass off to seal the autopsy on Flick. We know why you and pete are working to get this sealed is because it will make you and him look like total incompetent fools that you are. We the public need to stand together and demand this report which we all paid for is released and let the facts speak for themselves. We know you are afraid to have rachel see all the real facts and not just the elder version you are telling her. You should have been an attorney, if his mouth is moving you is lying. Start calling your commissioner, the Coroner's office, and your state rep's as well as senators. Lets all work to hold this criminal leadership accountable.
