Re: “Bitcoin mining operator struggles to comply with city noise ordinance

What a waste of electricity.

What does a million dollar a month; a MILLION dollar a month electrical bill; what, what if anything at all; does that contribute to Colorado Springs; or Colorado for that matter.

Or anywhere?

A Million Dollar a Month electrical bill.

Oh, don't forget to change your light bulbs, keep air in your tires, and yeah. What a waste of electricity. Oh, BTW; we're going to raise all your property taxes (unless you live in Broadmoor), parking rates, and well; general population of Colorado Springs; peons, citizens, rest of the city;

All hail the BitCoin; heat, noise, and a million dollars a month of energy usage.

Re: “Airbnbs are commercial properties, assessor says. The fallout could be huge.

Good deal new guy in town Scheels got a tax break.

Re: “Why other cities offer much lower prices for pools and rec

All the new growth; such as Scheels; gets these multi-million dollar tax breaks. As in a 16 Million dollar tax break. Sixteen Million Dollars.

Meanwhile; Joe and Joe Ann Average have to pay $36 to take their two kids to the pool?

This is some more head shaking sadness to even read about.

Hardly a "City of Champions" ticket price indeed. Thirty six dollars; for a couple and their two kids; to go to a city pool? WTF COS, WTF.

Re: “City Council delays decision on Ivywild music venue parking

All the ways our "New" Colorado Springs seeks to make a buck.

I pray that the council is not getting enriched during any of this; but it does appear so when these items happen over and over - for the new development.

Old places like Edelweiss; yeah. They had to beg, plead, and as stated; even PURCHASE ADDITIONAL LAND.

This isn't the way Colorado Springs is supposed to be making money. Oh hi new business; here; we'll just roll over for the 200 cars that will be at your place; besides; you've got parking for well, not even 50; but yeah! Come on in.

By the way Ivywild residents; enjoy your wonka property tax increases! And the new gas station down by the creek. It will never flood again. We promise.

New Denver, here we come.

Re: “Bitcoin noise test delayed

Bitcoin is an environmental rape. Massive amounts of heat are produced, and here we have the noise factor. Sick way to make a buck, the energy usage alone is disgusting.

Our brave new growth is crushing our pre-existing residents.

Re: “Flying W Ranch fencing draws protests

I want to put a 10' fence around my place too. Because of deer and other wildlife that eat my trees.
Oh; I don't have the $$$ omph behind my request?

$orry regular taxpayer; no 10' fence for you!

What the Hell is happening to our city? Are we really trying that hard to become Denver Jr?
