I found out that I was married to a child molester the day I came home from the hospital after giving birth to my third baby. When I got home, xxx asked me to put ointment on her because she was hurting. She was red. I asked her what happened. She told me that her father spread her legs apart and put his fingers in her. I put Desitin on her and told her to get dressed. I confronted her father and he admitted that he molested her. He told me that if I called Munhall Police, he would tell them not to believe me. I knew he was right because they have always believed his lies. He told his family, my siblings, friends and neighbors that I have post-partum depression and not to believe anything that I tell them. No one would believe me.
Roy lies and lies and lies. Everyone believes him. He loves to be pitied. As long as he is not confronted to face his problems, he will not get help.
My daughter has repressed memory and is emotionally distraught. When I asked Roy to get help for her, he refused. She is continually becoming more and more emotional as she gets older. She has always felt different from her classmates. I always sensed that her problems are from being molested and have begged Roy to help her; he refuses. He tells me to get on with my life and quit dwelling on the past.
In November of 2007, Roy went to a Halloween party dressed in his dad's army uniform. He had a gun and said to xxx, "I bet you'd like to use this on me." She came to me and asked why he would say that to her. I said maybe it's because he molested you when you were 5 yrs old. She become very upset. When she and I confronted him, he denied molesting her but he remembered that she was red when I got home from the hospital. He told me that if I can find someone to do a lie detector test and if I would pay for it, he would take the test. I contacted Mr. William Barrett at Assured Polygraph Services, Inc. and paid for the test. Several times, Mr. Barrett called Roy to set up an appointment but Roy never returned his phone calls. So, I took the test. Here are the results:

Dear Ms. Balkovic,

Pursuant to your request, you were administered a polygraph examination. The issue was to determine whether you lied regarding information you had concerning your exhusband sexually assulting your child when xxx was 5 years old. The polygraph examination utilized a computerized commercial polygraph instrument, which indicated and recorded relative changes in blood pressure, rate and strength of pulse beat, electro-dermal response, thoracic and abdominal respiratory patterns. This examination employed the Modified Zone of Comparison Test. You read and signed a request/release form indicating that the examination was being taken voluntarily and that the results could be released to the proper person(s).

Additionally, a pre-test interview was conducted. During the pre-test interview, the polygraph instrument, the examination process and the physiology of lying were explained to you. Personal information pertaining to you and your background were gathered. The issue was discussed at length.During the test, control/comparison, symptomatic, and irrelevant questions wereemployed along with the following relevant questions:

1. Regarding when you say your ex-husband Roy admitted to you that he sexually assulted xxx, do you intend to answer truthfully each question about that?
Answer: Yes

2. Did you lie when you said Roy admitted to you that he sexually assulted xxx?
Answer: No

3. Did you lie when you said Roy admitted to you that he sexually assulted xxx when xxx was about 5 years old? Answer: No

4. Did you plan to lie and make up a story that Roy sexually assulted xxx?
Answer: No

The polygrams show no strong or consistent unresolved responses to the relevant questions. Therefore, after careful numerical analysis and quantification of the charts it is my opinion that you were evaluated as No Deception Indicated (NDI) or Truthful. Your score was a +6 a definite truthful conclusion can be rendered at +6. A deceptive or not truthful conclusion can not be rendered unless the score is a -6. Any score in between -6 and +6 is inconclusive.Additionally, I conducted an independent computer algorithm-scoring program,PolyScore developed by John Hopkins University, on your data. PolyScore confirmed my assessment that you were truthful.I hope this information is useful to you in finally resolving this issue.
