Re: “A 50-year Trekkie bestows Star Trek history upon the next generation: How fandom and fanfiction sparked the galaxy’s most controversial romance

Alissa, AWESOME piece!!! While I have never been a Trekkie (though all but one of my older sibs were) and my hubby is a diehard fan, I now think maybe I need to give TOS a second look. KUDOS to you-sharing this with my eldest sib who STILL likes all things Trek and my husband who frequently still watches the reruns of various iterations. GREAT JOB!!! Thank you for sharing this with us all!!!

Re: “"Gutter politics" emerging in Liston-Joshi race

Interesting. Party infighting and not the only example in recent history. The GOP have brought this all on themselves.

Thank you Richard Skorman and all of the other folks in Colorado Springs and surrounding environs who have worked to keep Strawberry Fields in the city park system. KUDOS!!!

Re: “Mr. Skorman's neighborhood

GREAT piece and THANK you, J. Adrian Stanley and the Indy! I always tell people who have not yet discovered the joy that is Poor Richard's how-as a newcomer to the Springs in '86-I knew I would be able to stay in this community when I first went to Richard's. Thank you a million times over, Richard and Patricia and your wonderful staff for creating this wonderful place. But above and beyond that, thank you for being YOU and sharing your light with our community.

Re: “Shine on brightly

I had the great good fortune to hear ItsaRealLight speak at the "We are Women" gathering. What a talented woman she was and a real inspiration, too. I am so sorry to hear of her passing but she leaves the world a better place simply because she was here and shared her gifts.
