More than 25 years after the release of their breakthrough “No Rain” video — yes, the one with the infamous tap dancing “bee girl” — and more than two decades after the death by overdose of lead singer-songwriter Shannon Hoon, a reconstituted Blind Melon has hit the tour circuit. This isn’t the first time the L.A. group has re-formed. Back in 2008, a post-mortem Melon released a third album, with lead singer Travis Warren from the jam band Rain Fur Rent manning the mic. Warren is reprising his role for the band’s current tour. Meanwhile, the bee girl, Heather DeLoach, got married late last year. “We can’t wait to start our lives together,” she told People magazine, “and one day have our own little bumble bees to add to the hive.”
