Re: “Om on the range

Zenna, i have been to 4 gatherings including CO. If you are as worldly and experienced as you would like to believe you are, you should have attempted to just let go and have a good time. Each kitchen has individual qualities to give. And give they do.

They may be the bottom of the economical food chain, but when they set their minds to something, they do incredible things. I mad may way back to the location of the gathering a month after in CO. I was amazed by the clean up. On our hike, we saw not one piece of garbage, not one cigarette butt. i was awestruck, how a bunch of homeless, dirty hippies managed to do it.

If you google "rainbow family" connected to any natural or other disaster, you will see their names along with the clean up crew and several other forms of selfless deeds they do.

The national gathering is once a year, they spend the rest of the time helping others in need. they have set up shop in New Orleans post Katrina, and are currently in the gulf helping with the clean up efforts and feeding others who are helping.

I'm sorry you had a bad experience, although maybe if you were not fighting with your friend and opened yourself up to have a good time, you would have seen how incredible these people are. Under their bottom feeder economical status and grungy clothing, they live to give.
