Re: “He's buried under her feelings dump

"Eat, pray you'll shut up, love"
-a gentleman's POV-

The guilt and insecurities are normal, no foul in doing some research on your man; it's a crazy world, no doubt!

But... why would you tell him about the girl friend search, or insecurities?
-what is your motive? are you instigating rough waters? did you WANT to test his patience or boundaries?

Never lie about the research or your actions, defend them. You can be brutally honest about your insecurities too... when the time is right- when he, or she, identifies your actions an issue. The research may not be received as foul- maybe they did their research on Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, etc. too!

You presented your actions as foul, therefore a foul reaction should be expected- it seems justified. Had you presented your investigation as...
"duh, it's a crazy world and I wanted to be sure you weren't a psychopathic serial killer, so YES- I dug into your social media accounts... by the way your ex is pretty hot..."
Most men would respond- 'only the best for me!' not only would one avoid conflict, but one would also be placed in a class of the BEST!

-Love yourself first ladies and gentlemen!

Lots of love,
-BD+
