Spay Day & Spay-a-Thon: sterilize your pet for less money. 200 low-cost spay and neuter certificates will be sold at the Humane Society, 610 Abbott Lane. Also, the Hamlet Spay and Neuter Clinic will perform $15 sterilizations on Mon., Feb. 24. Call 473-1741 for more.

Scholarship for high school seniors, Pikes Peak Justice and Peace Commission, $1000 scholarship available to seniors students who have demonstrated a commitment to peaceful conflict resolution, the amelioration of social injustice, environmental activism, and the promotion of nonviolence.
