Re: “Spring's downtown bicycle infrastructure progresses despite growing pains

Feels like the majority residents do not matter and only very small interest group does. Not at all happy with the changes dowtown.. Just more traffic issues and less ability to get to shops.

Re: “UPDATE: ATTN: Cyclists. Tell the city you want these bike lanes.

And yes seldom any bikes every on Research and most of the ride on the side walks. I would never let my kids or grand-kids ride on Research unsafe. Blind spots in cars trying to cross this bikes lanes often cannot see the people in the lane in their blind spot. This is just flat causing MAYHEM on what used to be our main connection to shopping, hospitals, freeway. It is harming the businesses who are also complaining about it. Just so a few people can cause Mayhem on Research.

Re: “UPDATE: ATTN: Cyclists. Tell the city you want these bike lanes.

This is dangerous. Have had several near miss accidents now because of the mess on Research. In the bad weather it is horrifying up here now. Getting out of the neighborhood now can take up to 4 light changes. Getting to Memorial Hospital for Emergency treatment means I now get stuck in traffic This a major artery we all use to get to I25 and now that is a mess as is Powers. There was no though put into this plan it is horrible for all of us that bought homes and live here. We used and needed three lanes it it is idiotic to take one away when we already had traffic issues. These planners care nothing about those of us that live here and use this road daily.
