Is farm-to-truck dining the next step up from farm-to-table? Hard to say, but Amber Hendrickson and Chris Sniffen are giving it a shot. They opened their food truck in early April, serving eggs and chicken from their ranching operation along with locally sourced meats and baked goods. They offer breakfast and lunch menus, so we get something from each.

The Mother Clucker breakfast sandwich piles two eggs, cheese, bacon and sausage on a plain, everything or French toast bagel from Olde World Bagel & Deli. We enjoy how the rich egg plays with the sage-forward sausage patty, with the subtle sweetness of our chosen French toast bagel providing a pleasant if understated counterpoint.

The Fiesta Chicken sandwich comes packed with a bounty of taco-ready shredded chicken, topped with peppers, onions and a house cheese sauce. Each bite rates pretty good, and the sheer amount of food makes this $7 sandwich a good deal.
