A proposal to add 223.25 acres to Corral Bluffs Open Space on the city's northeast side will be considered by the city's Parks and Recreation Advisory Board on June 14. The appraised value is $1,046,000, according to a summary provided for the Trails, Open Space and Parks Working Committee. TOPS dedicated sales tax money will be used to fund the acquisition, which is seen as a key portion of Corral Bluffs. The property is owned by the Everett Bishop family and offers views that are "nothing short of spectacular" and contains "significant wildlife and natural resource values," the summary said.
