The trailhead is up this dirt road that comes off of CR 43 between the town hall and fire department. Do not drive up this road, instead park on the wide shoulder across the street on CR 43 and then walk the short distance up the road to the trailhead

Some simple rules of the trail are posted a short distance up the trail

Follow trail 931. At about .6 miles you'll pass a side trail 931.2 marked as H-G Ranch. Stay on 931. At about 1.3 miles this view opens up to the west. Continue up the trail.

At about 2.2 miles the Rainbow Trail #981 meets the Crosier Mountain Trail. Continue straight.

At about 3.4 miles the Crosier Summit trail #931.1 is on the right. Follow the summit trail for about .5 miles to the top.

At the summit, bear right and scramble up the rock formation and look for the summit marker while taking in the great views.

Panoramic view from the summit of Crosier Mountain. After visiting the summit, return down to the Crosier Mountain Trail. At the intersection, turn left to return to Glen Haven for hike of about 7.5 miles. Turn right at the intersection to continue to the Garden Gate Trailhead.

The views on the Crosier Mountain Trail on the way to the Garden Gate Trailhead alternate between wooded trails to open grass meadows and mountain views.
