Re: “One nation under FOX

Health insurance and care need reforming. They do not need a government run program. There are no "free" lunches. Someone will have to pay. How much are you willing to pay to provide free health care to others? Let's look at some of those "good" government run programs.
Social Security - soon to be bankrupt
Medicare and Medicaid - bankrupt
Amtrak - broke and unable to even cover its annual costs
Post Office - more than $5 billion in the hole
The list goes on and on.

Before we hand over health care to the government why don't we try to:
1. TORT reform as done in Texas and Mississippi
2. mandate equal access to all health policies in every state.
3. eliminate fraud in the existing programs
4. eliminate "pre existing" condition clauses in contracts.
5. put a cap on out-of-pocket expenses per individual and family
6. eliminate the 7.5% medical cost loss on tax returns and allow these costs to be deducted on page.
7. Broader use of "health savings accounts" with individual control.
8. Allow for negotiated prices of medications
9. Allow US citizens to purchase prescription drugs from Canada.

Do you really want a government agency deciding on your medical treatment?

Re: “Noted: Rabies spreads

"combination of recycled photos from past rallies" really?
Why don't you try looking at the actual photos from the 9/12 rally. Clearly there were well over 70,000 individuals who are concerned about the runaway spending in Washington, the massive debt and the corruption in Washington.

Those who were once called the "silent majority" are no longer silent. Look where it got us:
Current budget deficits of $1,000,000,000,000 (trillion)
Government debt exceeding $9 trillion
Corruption gone wild in Washington.
