Re: “Collecting delinquent child support a deadbeat effort in El Paso County

I am not saying that the woman is always right, but it seems like the men do a lot of the complaining. The laws are built around the best interest of the children, not the parents. And they should be that way. But if there isn't a marriage maybe there should be a choice for the man to sign out of his obligations if the woman doesn't want an abortion. LIke a divorce from the fetus. But if that happens the rest of us shouldn't be forced to pay taxes so that the mom and child can be on foodstamps and housing for the next 21 years because the dad backed out. What is the right thing to do? What are the limits? Seriously, this topic could go on forever but it comes down to question. What, as a society, could we accept morally? Abortions are more then getting rid of cells. I believe in freedom of choice. but you must understand that an abortion is not easy. that's why you can't get one at a drug store. people say "abortion" like it's something compareable to popping a zit.

ares has a good point, birth controll isn't just limited to a condom. the responsibility is with both people. But if the man is totoally against children, he does have a choice. Keep it in your pants. Man up and quit acting like victims, the only victims are the children.

Why don't men get it? The second you decide to have sex is the second you should realize that a child may come out of the act. If a child results from the act then you are therefore responsible, whether you want it or not. Life isn't always fair, but in this case you have the choice to do it or not. Women are always the bad ones in this situation, married or not. I have been on both sides of the fence. I was a single mother at 21, my choice to keep the baby. The father didn't want it so I made a verbal areement with him that he was to dissapear and he wouldn't have to pay anything. I kept my word, my desion my responsiblity. I was married a few years later and had a second child. The marriage fell apart and through the courts i went. He doesn't have to pay anything because of jurisdiction issues and this baby was planned! That pisses me off. He won't even voluntarily pay. Loser. all the fathers that actually take care of their kids....good job and congrats. on being an adult. to those who complain about paying and resent the fact they have responsiblities, F>U>!!! I would like to send out much love to the single moms who barely scrape by but somehow make it work.
