D.O.A., the long-running, Vancouver-based punk act frequently credited as being the first to use the “hardcore” moniker with regards to second-wave punk. Regardless of the semantics, DOA is on equal footing with the likes of Black Flag, Bad Brains and the Angry Samoans in terms of influence, and you can catch them at the Black Sheep on Tuesday, May 22, along with fellow travelers MDC.
