Re: “Rainbow disconnection

After volunteering and working closely with a staff that represents pride in themselves as well as other volunteers. I find that the Rainbow Pages not only will serve the whole community within the Rocky Mountain region, but bridges a gap with the Pride Center and all supporters alike socially and economically. In retrospect, fingers are pointed at the Pride Center for a delay of the Rainbows Pages. This is minor when it comes to the way The City of Colorado Springs Government mis-manages its own priorities by raising approx. $50 million in funds to open a new facility for the Olympic Committee. The City of Colorado Springs should be supporting the Pride Center and other non profit organizations, funding schools and hiring more law enforcement and promoting growth. The Pride Center is under rated and under appreciated for what it stands for. The Pride Center is for whole community not just the G,L,B,T community. I urge you and everyone else to get involved and speak out and speak up when it comes to issues like this. We live in this community and we need to exercise our rights more diligently instead of just complaining about issues.
