It seems a bit simplistic, but why not just enforce the Code that already exists? Isn't that what rules...Codes...laws... are all about? All the blogging about Budget cuts, reinstituting religious practice, etc. is nothing more than smoke clouding the central issue...honesty and integrity in all areas of life. Leadership doesn't even exist without integrity! To have officials of the Academy/Academies publically lying and mis-representing facts and issues, is even more disgraceful than to have cadets, many youngsters still in their teens, doing the same. Is this "leadership?"

I am the Widow of a USAF General Officer who was graduated by USMA a long time ago. My General didn't learn integrity at USMA. He had it in his bones. Can it be taught? Perhaps. Can its opposite be "corrected?" Perhaps...but not without enforcement of the existing Code.
