Eric Bransby

When: Fri., March 4, 5-8 p.m. 2016
Phone: 634-6073
Price: Free

Colorado Springs resident Eric Bransby has as storied a life as one might expect for a guy who's months out from his 100th birthday. After serving in World War II, Bransby studied at the Fine Arts Center on the G.I. Bill. He would later return to the Springs after teaching at Yale, Brigham Young and the University of Missouri-Kansas City. For the FAC's 75th anniversary, he painted the "Resilience" mural in the Glass Corridor. Swing by the Art Bank tonight for a chance to spend an evening with Bransby as he discusses his work and his legacy. 5 to 8 p.m., 610 N. Tejon St., free, 634-6073, — Griffin Swartzell
