Re: “Cauc-eyed

Where is the media coverage of why Obama had landslides in caucus states on Super Tuesday? Well, I will tell you why. Obama exploited a voting system that doesn't educate its own voters. I never received a phone call or mailing from the state or the DNC about where to go and caucus (regardless of candidate preference). I found it out online. And at my own caucus at Pueblo West High School, let's just say the Obama people were basically running the show. Their were Obama signs inside and Obama pamphlets and each room had signs that read "119 for Obama" or "109 for Obama." Hmmm, could that cause some confusion? I know Clinton mostly skipped the caucus states to focus on the big Primary states so I was expecting Obama to carry them. But the wide margins of victory obviously show a flaw in the caucus system that allows undue sway. Look at every Primary voting state without a large Black population. Either much closer or Clinton won. I for one was disgusted with the whole thing since Obama was able to tilt these states so heavily. If people don't think he is a shrewd, calculating politician, they are naive. I am certain you could take a poll in each of these caucus states right now and it would be much closer. If Colorado hopes to have any integrity in future voting, it had better change to a primary system.

Re: “Caucuses: Colorado's voice in the race

I am also very impressed with Obama, but his inexperience is GLARING. Give him 8 years as a VP and I think he could then truly transform this country. Hillary's knowledge, know-how and overall experience is crucial right now. And enough of the baggage, smaggage argument. She can and will be the most effective of any candidate running right now. With her in and both houses controlled by Democrats, change will come and it will happen quickly (in political time at least). Thus, Clinton will get my support on Feb 5, and I hope Obama will be her VP.
