Re: “Case by case

I understand code of honor after serving in the military. CSPD does not have a code of honor when it comes down to reportable incidents. They act like steroid infused trigger happy quota gathering fools. This mentality comes from top down. There are good cops but bad processes. Transparecy on the police side would be helpful to dispel the current police state we live in. The reported or news worthy incidents for a state of 4.5 million is incredibly high compared to smaller states with 9 million population. These cops are acting like their outside a FOB forward operating base in the middle East. Our own DA office is afraid of filing charges from fear of retaliation. With a military town filled with vets coming out of a 10 year war, this mickey mouse crew need outside audits and updated training. However they are empowered to do what they want with no accountability to tax payers. At the end of the day I have to hope not all police sleep easy at night knowing they are in someone's back pocket---when they endorse fraudulent statements of their peers. I know I would not sleep at all.
