Garden of the Gods Park is a 1335 acre registered National Natural Landmark of both scenic and recreational opportunities. Imagine dramatic views, 300-foot towering sandstone rock formations against a backdrop of snow-capped Pikes Peak. Before entering this magnificent park, see the 14-minute HD movie "How Did Those Red Rocks Get There?". This exciting movie experience in the Geo-Trekker theater will significantly enhance your experience and knowledge of the park. ($6/adults, $4/children). Proceeds benefit the park through the Garden of the Gods Foundation. The world class Garden of the Gods Visitor & Nature Center offers free maps & information about the park, guided nature walks, Adventure Series Programs, major annual events, a free weekly 5k every Thursday from 4pm - 6pm - Gallop in the Garden, and free interpretive presentations. Enjoy over 30 state-of-the-art interactive exhibits. Guided Jeep, Segway and 1909 Trolley Tours, rock climbing excursions and eBike tours available at the lower level activities desk. Some of the most spectacular views of Garden of the Gods Park are accessible from the Visitor & Nature Center terrace - which spans the entire front of the building. This iconic perspective of Pikes Peak framed by the foothills and the red sandstone of the Park is simply breathtaking. The terrace is a perfect setting for a family or group photo. Don't miss the 3D dinosaur mural on the lower level for the perfect selfie! The views here are beautiful on the inside, too! The award winning gift shops at the Visitor & Nature Center offer Native American pottery & jewelry, geology gifts, books, apparel & keepsakes. Delight in one of the most photographed landscapes in Colorado while eating in the glassed in Bean Sprouts Café or from the terrace overlooking the Park. Espresso Bar, Breakfast, Lunch with fun, healthy options for everyone. Where else can you eat inside a postcard? Purchases made at the Visitor & Nature Center support education and maintenance efforts the Park through the non-profit Garden of the Gods Foundation. Garden of the Gods Visitor & Nature Center is located directly across the street from the Park's main entrance at 1805 North 30th Street, just minutes from downtown Colorado Springs. Open daily except Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day.
