Re: “Stuck holding the (golf) bag

When I tried to reach Mr. Eitel on several occasions, he was unavailable. Assistants took torrid messages from me. Never got a reply. This person, being paid $444,000 and looking forward to a a probable sizable pension, should be the subject of a serious investigation of mismanagement, where as starters, came down hard on a turning over her "invented debts" to a collection agency. She was forced to appear in court twice and scheduled again, which appearance was recently given to her by phone by a hospital rep, without written confirmation so far. Evidence, both discovery and research, revealed unimpeachanle proof of his gross error. The case, according to the hospital rep, has been totally vacated. No regrets, no offer of any compensation (and now very vunerable to civil law suits) The city management(all departents) refused to interfer when brought to their attention, because "the case was in litigation: Many. many months of thier collection agency. as authorized by the hospital, actually came into court without proper validation of the "debts" which actually were covered by an insurance plan, in force, but totally overlooked, evem after getting advice that the direct billings were sent to the patient in error. The victim is a 61 year old Springs daughter of parents who both were proud veterans and volunteers in WW2 Air Force. And the Springs is an "Air Force City"? She was also disinherited by her father, which would have included a house and other meaningful assets because of the vivious proceeding and dastardly act of the hospital and its "bad" collection efforts. Try that on for size and remember it next election time. Bringing court action without "clean hands" would have been thrown out by any fair judge anyway. The use of the courts and taxpayers money, without merit, constitutes a frivoulous action, and may cost the taxpayers a considerable amount of awards to the victim, plus high priced legal fees. The father of the victim Gene Tannenbaum
