Springs Climbing Center

4642 Northpark Drive, springsclimbingcenter.com, $13-$15 day pass; shoes, harness and chalk rental available

This OG climbing gym boasts bragging rights as one of the first of its kind in the country, and its website states that it has 160 boulder problems, 50 top ropes and 25 lead climbs, all running on a six-week rotation.

Pure Bouldering Gym

1401 S. 8th St., pureboulderinggym.com, $12/adult day pass, $9/child 8 and under; shoes, harness and chalk rental available

Wee ones won’t be left behind at this bouldering gym with its own kid room. Grown-ups will dig its 80-plus boulder problems and a cave that covers 38 feet from start to finish. There’s also a cool outdoor setup complete with a Ninja Warrior course.

CityROCK Climbing Center

21 N. Nevada Ave., climbcityrock.com, $19 day pass (cave segment is extra); shoes, harness and chalk rental available

With 225 feet of caving passages in addition to its towering walls, CityROCK still reigns supreme as downtown’s favorite indoor climbing locale. The bar up front with snacks and brews probably doesn’t hurt its cool cred one bit, either.
