Re: “Two ways Strawberry Fields swap has been forgotten already

City council illegal land grab all the way. This should disgust every true American.
I hope the federal judge is not paid off and does what should be done and cancel this
horrendous robbery. This is one of the nicest ares in town, what a total joke. They will be profiting big time if it goes through. Side deal pay-offs with no public vote. The 6 city council members should be disgusted with themselves. Total knuckleheads.

Re: “Leave your stinkin' drone at home

Point being like Bob says, leave your stinkin' drone at home when going to state and national parks. If you like to screw up nature, go right ahead and be a complete douchebag jackass since you have zero respect for nature anyways. Unless you use it for an actual business, you're a fool and nobody cares about your narcissistic photos you are posting.

Oh the bears love this you selfish pricks > "The heart monitors, though, showed that all the bears’ heart rates spiked sharply during the drone flights (by as much as 300 percent in one case), a sure sign of stress."

The Sheep love this also >"Last year, a low-flying drone in Zion National Park sent a herd of big horn sheep into a panic and separated lambs from their mothers"

The birds also love this man, great job! > "Videos online already reveal a pattern of amateur videographers driving birds away with clumsily steered recreational drones, something that could cause problems during nesting time or in some sensitive habitats"

Fact: Drones are banned from all parks because their buzzing upsets wildlife and disrupts the tranquility for visitors

The list goes on and on, pull your self-serving heads out of your asses and use it in your backyard or maybe on a million dollar listing, farm surveying, etc. Get a clue people and have some respect for nature and people who are trying to relax without your obnoxious social media tool.

Re: “Leave your stinkin' drone at home

Bob, thanks a million for posting. I was one of the first real estate brokers in the country to start using drones for high end listings in 2012 and learned all the rules. I believe they are great tools but under NO circumstances is it okay or even respectful to use these in state and national parks.

People need to think about the wildlife they are affecting and grow up. It's typically social media people who want that great shot. Typical narcissism and these disrespectful clowns or tourist don't give a darn about the people trying to enjoy the silence of nature.

I'm so glad they arrested him or fined him big time. There is a time and place for drones and our US parks are forbidden.

Re: “Leave your stinkin' drone at home

Jim, I think you're missing the main point besides drones being obnoxiously loud in a state or national park setting. I'm a real estate broker and have a nice drone for my videos. This is also useful for farming and surveying and are perfectly okay. It is 100% NOT okay to take the drones for personal photography in national and state parks. Why? They've done studies where drones first off disrupt wildlife, but the main issue is smaller birds think "drones" are predatory birds and it seriously messes with their livelihood. Taking pictures to share is completely self serving and people need to get a clue. Just b/c you want to flash your "awesome" photo to Facebook and social media, doesn't give one a right to go mess up our wildlife and their settings. Sorry Jim, you need to do more homework before you start questioning wildlife experts who've made the ban. Respect nature first, not your FB and instagram accounts. There is no "shame" behind this, it's factual and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure are drones are not good for our protected parks.
