Re: “Star treatment

John Anderson was a tyrant. He acted like a child and threw temper tantrums when he did not get his way. His only agenda at the Sheriff’s Office was to further his career in politics. He was so ruthless that when he left the Office, he found himself alone and with very few friends. This is why he found very little support from the Sheriff’s Office and Sheriff’s Office Employees when he sought higher office and asked for their support. He has been mad about this for years and is using this opportunity to retract some level of payback. Only those folks who have worked for John Anderson can understand what I’m saying because nobody in their right mind would ever believe the stories that linger behind. We do not wish to repeat the John Anderson years. The people of the Office do not support John Anderson for Sheriff. God help us.

Re: “Star treatment

For those of you who don’t work at the Sheriff’s Office, let me assure you that the majority of the employees who work for Sheriff Maketa have the utmost respect and trust in Sheriff Maketa and the decisions he makes. He is not perfect but neither are any of us. The small minority of the employees who seek to discredit the Sheriff are obviously the more vocal of the two groups. Just because they are vocal does not mean they are factual. Most of the issues that have been addressed in this bog have been made up or are being heavily exaggerated. Sheriff Maketa has some decisions to make. Let’s give him time to review this mess and make those decisions before we gang up on him. Don’t any of you see how the timing of this attack is an obvious attempt to influence the election process? Is this the type of political campaigning we seek in El Paso County? I say lets review the record. Our Office is far better now than it was 8-years ago in many ways. We have all but survived the worst of the recession without the loss of jobs or wages. We owe Sheriff Maketa for this and we must not forget that. Sheriff Maketa, stand strong, those of us who know you support you and will be supportive of you this Tuesday.
