Personally, I think it would be a good idea to file a lawsuit against the state. There were actually 18 doctors that they ended up denying through the health department. Sensible Colorado is also considering a lawsuit. Brian Vicente, an attorney who works with them, was successful in filing a similar lawsuit earlier.

The state health department actually started setting aside applications months before Senate Bill 109 passed. They retroactively are denying patients of whom the doctor's wrote their referrals. In addition, over 2,000 medical marijuana business applications were denied.
