Indy Inclusion Awards 2018 garden party

The fifth annual Indy Inclusion Awards took place Tuesday, July 10, at Briarhurst Manor in Manitou. The inclusion awards celebrate the LBGTQ community and their public allies. This year's legacy awards honored winners from the past five years recognized for their continual work toward equality.

Legacy winners included Inside Out Youth Services, Shawna Kemppainen of Urban Peak, former mayor Mary Lou Makepeace, Silas Musick, and All Souls Unitarian Universalist minister Rev. Dr. Nori Rost. Read more about the inclusion awards and winners by the Indy's Alissa Smith.
