Re: “Hard times at Happy Ass

Under what circumstance is it legal to abduct a law abiding citizen because they were in the wrong place at the wrong time? If I were unfortunate enough to have been effectively kidnapped by police, I would be filing a lawsuit against all the agencies represented and a complaint against each individual officer present. Part of the reason that this thuggery occurs, people, is that most people are too broke and/or misinformed. For $5000-10k in legal fees, you could make these agencies pay for their misdeeds. The trouble is none of the people who were abducted by law enforcement have that kind of money (probably not any money, considering they're camping in the woods for fun). So, the bottom line for me: If you want to be treated fairly by the cops, suck it up, get a job, and do what every upstanding and financially secure American would have done in this situation. Call you lawyer and start suing.
