Re: “Letters

I see the socialist oppressors like Huera are out in force in this spate of angry moralizing letters.

So: The government owns more or less everything, and only lets us "borrow" it for a while, in Huera's mentally challenged mindview.

Brings new meaning to the definition of "slumlord." Last I saw, government projects were the biggest abomination and waste of money we've seen yet. What makes you think they'd be a good landlord?

Christ, people, get a grip. Socialism doesn't work, and we don't want it, so why do you insist on forcing your childish mental models on everyone else? Go form your own socialist collectives and leave the rest of us alone.

Capitalism is an economic model that allows individuals the freedom of choice. It is not intended to be a panacea for the world's ills. However, within a capitalist system, socialist sub-groups can survive and even thrive.

Socialism is a moral system that requires individuals to surrender choice. Within a socialist system, every other belief must be squashed.

Which one is inherently more violent?

Which one created systems of government that resulted in over 100,000,000 people being murdered during the 20th century? Oh wait--I forgot--that's what you sick people want--it's a greedy, selfish, and childish notion of a garden of Eden for just yourselves. You'd be happiest if the rest of us were dead. I've gotten a few of you to admit it; perhaps you should be more open about your hatred for humanity, though, so we can all see you bask in your violent glory.

Re: “Letters

Larimore Nicholl gets credit for the most laughable coining by a self-righteous moral crusader in a while. "Forced altruism?" It'd be funnier than Palin's made up words, or Obama's invention of the "Austrian language," if it weren't so frightening.

Indeed: The socialists are all about force and violence. They are threatened by the idea of letting people choose their own moral paths, and they can survive only by shoving their sick moral ideas down the throats of other people.

Nicholl is also simply wrong when it comes to the things that "only" big government can do. For example, highways: The US would have survived just fine with a state-coordinated system of highways. But no, it's all about usurping unwarranted powers and growing the size of state control (and thus oppression).

Ahh but I suppose in Nicholls' eyes, I am "violent and predatory" for having a different opinion than hers, a viewpoint that doesn't believe in a government with unlimited and arbitrary rights to force moral viewpoints on all of us.

Socialism is all about control, power, and greed. Socialism: The anti-choice.
