Re: “North Cheyenne CaƱon: No vehicles allowed?

As always, these working sessions are dog and pony shows. No public input is encouraged, or even allowed... They have their preferences and agenda, and they shove it down our throats in the name of fair process. It is complete and utter BS!

Re: “Strawberry Fields' appraiser faces penalties for his work on the city's land exchange

"I think some of the public probably will lose some trust in us," Knight says, "and they have the right to lose some trust in us. I hope they realize we as Council were putting our trust in other people, ourselves assuming all the data we were looking at was accurate data."

No, Mr. Knight, it is "YOU" we no longer trust (along with Tom Strand, Merv Bennett, Andy Pico, Keith King and Larry Bagley), not "Us". Fortunately, Mr. King and Mr. Bagley are now gone. No, Mr. Knight, you and those who voted "yes" on the Strawberry Fields "land grab" had the same facts we had, and we smelled a rat from the very beginning! These new revelations only bolster our position.

We do, however, trust Jill Gaebler and Bill Murray (and Helen Collins, now gone) who saw this travesty for what it was and voted "no"! They are to be commended! You, on the other hand, should be ashamed of yourselves...

Re: “Local executive joins Land Trust Alliance conversation

Public open space protection?!? Just like your complicity in helping The Fraudmoor grab our public land...?

Re: “Hiking Waldo Canyon then and now

Bob, although I appreciate your report (and I enjoy bushwhacking from time to time myself), isn't this report, in such a public format, going to encourage excessive damage from myriad social/rogue trail production? Shouldn't we work toward the establishment of "official" trails to minimize further destruction? Thoughts?

Re: “Parks, trails and open space advocate awarded with Spirit of the Springs

To begin, congratulations Lee, you deserve the recognition! But, I also have two questions: 1. Did you wash your hand after shaking it with that slime of a worm Suthers? 2. Did you give Suthers hell for his hypocrisy concerning Strawberry Fields?

Re: “City regulations on fire pits haven't triggered citations in recent years

Pam, as always, I greatly appreciate what you do for our community as an investigative journalist. Although the fire issue is my greatest concern, I just wish you had also mentioned my neighbors egregious encroachment on our City Park land upon which their fire-pits reside...
