Re: “Sahara CafĂ©

Have tried the Sahara several times now and have never been disappointed. The lamb is very tasty. Also really love the coffee there. Even though its a little farther drive, I think its well worth it. Cant wait to try the new falafel!

Re: “Great sand dunes

I am loving the new Sahara in Manitou. The lamb was out of the world and really enjoyed the Sahara Salad when I was there. Also, the coffee is fantastic, done to perfection and is perfect after a wonderful dinner there. Very good customer service as well. I will be back!

Re: “Arabian slights

Your review of the Arabica Cafe was harsh in my opinion. I have been to this new downtown cafe several times in the short time it's been open. It has quickly become a favorite for me. I aprreciate the fine quality of its food and have always found a friendly staff to greet me and a very clean environment to enjoy my meal. I admit there is a few other places in town to sample meditteranean food but I think the authenticity at the Arabica offers is not challenged. You mention consistency, I have had the beef shawarma there at least 7 times and have had a fantastic sandwich each and every time. I'm not sure how much more consistent you can get. Gyros is fine, but it is a different product entirely. Like comparing apples and oranges, they are both good, however, different. If I am craving a shawarma sandwich, there is only one place in town to get it, without a doubt the Arabica is unique in this. There are other places to get a gyros sandwich and perhaps falafel, however, you will have to travel a great distance to get sharwarma the quality that the Arabica offers.
