Re: “Proposition 105: GMOs

To 'none of the above'; who said anything about Organic? There's a HUGE difference between GMO free and organic foods. Huge.

Re: “A ditch for Pleasant Valley, low wages, annoying car stereo noise, and more

As well as noise complaints coming from cars, lets also be aware of people who throw lit cigarettes out of vehicle windows. Could that be more inconsiderate? I don't believe so. Twice now I have gotten out of my car and pitched the lit butt back into the window it came out of and I will do it again. I have also written down license plate numbers and reported people who throw their butts out the window. Screw people who seem to have no memory of Colorado Springs burning for the last two summers. Idiots.

About the Camp Creek issue, clearly Kenton is unaware that there were HUGE blocks of concrete moved by last yers flooding within the culvert and the ground underneath was compromised by water seeping under the road. All properties downhill and the intersection of 31st and Colorado was threatened by the diverted water. The money was well spent to refinish the culvert and would save alot of money in the long run. Next time you want to complain, maybe you should do some research previous to your rant.

Re: “On the county's eastern edge, a new company quietly picks up the torch on oil drilling

Watch 'Gasland' and tell me that fracking hasn't contaminated ground water and created massive air pollution. Naysayers are greedy or minimally educated morons. There are 590 chemicals used in fracking of which over 100 are know carcinogens. 400,000 gallons of water is used PER WELL of which only 300,000 gallons of which are removed, the missing 100,000 gallons is evaporated or leaked back into the soil which contains all of these 590 chemicals creating acid rain and massive ground water pollution. Thousands of people who have allowed fracking on their properties can now light the water that comes out from their taps on fire. That's right, their drinking water is now flammable. These people have been silenced with money and have signed paperwork ensuring they won't speak publicly about their health and water issues. Cancer and repiratory diseases have quadrupled in areas where fracking is abundant. In some places, the air is literally on the verge of being flammable (Dish, Texas it is illegal to have an open flame in public). Greed isn't worth the health and environmental risks. There are absolutely NO reports of solar or wind power natural disasters. Fracking will be the death of everything if we allow it to happen and what IS currently happening needs to be shut down. The EPA is being paid off. It's disgusting.
