Five things you should know about Lady Gaga:

• She looks amazing as a wax figure. No, seriously, look at this photo of her (right) with a telephone on her head at Madame Tussauds Wax Museum in London. It’s totally her.

• The Indy was one of the first to run a Lady Gaga interview. That was back in 2008, two week’s after she released her debut album and was going out on tour as opening act for New Kids on the Block. She invited writer Tom Lanham to go shopping with her afterward.

• The Pussycat Dolls taught her everything she knows. Okay, maybe not, but Lady Gaga did open for them and also wrote a song for their 2008 Doll Domination album. Plus, their take on the Slumdog Millionaire song “Jai Ho” may well have influenced Gaga’s later work. And even if it didn’t, it’s still a really great track, so you should go listen to it right now.

• She conducted a Satanic ritual during this year’s Super Bowl halftime show. That’s why Infowars host Alex Jones stood in the street red-faced and sputtering as he tried to warn us about it: “They say she’s going to stand on top of the stadium, ruling over everyone with drones everywhere, surveilling everyone in a big swarm, ruling over them with the rise of the robots in a ritual of lesser magic.” And that’s exactly what happened!

• Her Joanne World Tour is expected to earn more than $100 million. In fact, most of the dates were sold out months ago. But, as of this writing, there are still some $150 seats left for next Tuesday’s show at the Pepsi Center. Have fun.
