Re: “This cattleman's got a beef ...

I was not at all surprised to see Monsanto as one of the corporate bullies in this article. They make agent orange for the rest of us in a bottle of Roundup (they are the makers of THE agent orange). They also hold patents on genetically modified food sources like soy beans, corn and other widely used grains. They're genetically modified to tolerate being sprayed with the herbicide ROUNDUP. Not only that they bully and take to court farmers, who can't afford the legal fight, because their fields are cross pollinated by Roundup Ready plants from other farms. They make whores out of our Congress to prohibit labeling food that is genetically modified. What are they worried about? They got the "Supreme Court" to allow patents on life(!) in the form of seed and then drive out the competition even if it's a common farmer. This is the era of the corporate bully.

Re: “Crank rolls big bucks into anti-Skorman ad

I live in a conservative town in a conservative county in a red state. I am so sick of conservatives I could puke. They tout that being a liberal is a heinous flaw of character. Well I'm a liberal and I'm proud to be one! The city of Boulder has been named the place where people say they are happiest in the whole of the USA. Not Hawaii, not Colorado Springs. That liberal bastion called Boulder. If you think the Burns opera house being torn down to put up a bank drive through is progress thank a conservative. If you think tearing down the old Antlers and putting up a sterile boring plaza in it's place is progress then thank a conservative. What a waste. Elect a liberal progressive. Skorman. Make Colorado Springs more like Boulder.
