All Pikes Peak Reads To Kill A Mockingbird, a community-wide reading project. Call 531-6333. On Sept. 3-5: Writing project orientations -- aspiring poets, novelists and non-fiction writers will be paired with mentors. On Sept. 7-8: Writing project workshops. On Sept. 9: Official Launch Day featuring gospel choir, 30's band, food, drink, mayoral proclamation and more. On Sept. 12: The Law in Literature -- a discussion about the legal elements of Mockingbird. On Sept. 14-15: Mock trial at the Pioneers Museum.
