Jean Ciavonne Poetry Contest. Fourth- and fifth-grade students are invited to write a poem about the past, teachers are encouraged to review poems and submit no more than five per class. Entries must be postmarked by Feb. 15, 2003. Complete rules available from any library or on its web site at ppld.org. Awards will be announced in mid-April.
