The Fleshies, punk children of Jello Biafra's label Alternative Tentacles, will be at Industrial Nation tonight along with Lambasted, Iota and The Unies. The show starts at 8 p.m. at 2106 E. Les Miserables kicks off its brief run at the Fine Arts Center Repertory Theatre (30 W. Dale St.) tonight. Not only will you be able to vicariously experience the romantic suffering of the "miserable ones" set to show tunes, you'll also get a gander at 40 local youth singers and actors. Take note: This is the "school edition," and the only week it's showing. Get your tickets for $12 in advance or $13 at the door. Showtimes are 7 p.m. on Friday, Saturday, Tuesday and Wednesday, and at 2 p.m. on Sunday. Call 634-5583.

Sunday

If you're as gruesomely glued to Crime Scene Investigation (not the lame Miami spinoff, but the Vegas version) as we are, then you'll definitely want to head to the East Library at 5550 N. Union Blvd. from 1 to 3 p.m. for Reality CSI, a talk about how forensic science solves crimes. It's geared toward teens entering the 6th through 12th grades this fall, and it's free! Call 531-6333 to investigate.

If your idea of great investigative television is more along the lines of Antiques Road Show, and what you want to investigate is more along the lines of how much money you can get for that antique bed pan your great-grandmother used, then you'll want to head to the Pioneers Museum, 215 S. Tejon St. from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for Antiques Valuation Day. It should be just like the TV show, except without the TV cameras. Each valuation (up to three) will cost you $10. Get in line early and get ready to pretend you're flabbergasted! Call 385-5990 for more.

Don't make me smack you! World Wrestling Entertainment, however, will be more than happy to oblige at the World Arena, 3185 Venetucci Blvd., as various fake wrestling personalities including WWE Champion Brock Lesnar, Mr. American, The Undertaker, Kurt Angle and all kind of other apes do all those awesome slams and things they do to entertain you. Preferably, it would be the lovely Sable, former Playboy cover girl, doing most of the smacking down. But we'll surely take whatever they want to dish out. Aaaaand how! Tickets range from $17.25 to $42.25. Call 576-2626.

Have you ever noticed how writers like myself inevitably refer to jazz musicians older than 40 as "legends"? Anyhow, jazz legends Ramsey Lewis and Nancy Wilson will be performing selections from their new CD Simple Pleasures at The Broadmoor hotel, 1 Lake Ave. Seriously though, Lewis is a legend. He recorded Hang On Sloopy and The In Crowd in the 1960s, and Nancy Wilson has a Grammy and an Emmy. Totally legendary! Call 634-7711 for exact location and ticket prices.

Wednesday

Well if you don't know who Summer Hartbauer is by now, then you don't work in the media! And if you don't work in the media, then you'll probably be hearing about her anyway 'cuz she's a gal with lots of countryish musical ambitions, and a brand-new CD to prove it (not to mention the sultry looks!). Why, I wouldn't be surprised to see Summer up on stage receiving a Grammy or playing a duet with Sheryl Crow some day. See her now! Buy her CD! The show is free and the CDs are only $15. It's all going down at Good Company, 7625 N. Union Blvd. from 6 to 9 p.m. Call 528-8877.
