Re: “Schnitzel Fritz

Wahoo - the paper plates are gone. I've had both the schnitzel ($8.99) and the rouladen ($8.99) there recently and found them both to be good. Cannot go to four stars though, as I really wanted a draft beer to go along with them.

Re: “Colorado Sports and Events Center stadium, arena to host Switchbacks, Colorado College hockey downtown

State dollars shouldn't be used for a Private College facility.

Re: “Switchbacks, Sky Sox eye a new home downtown, but will the stadium happen at all?

A downtown stadium should be funded by the people that intend to use it.

Re: “A plan to downsize roads in the Old North End leads to a lawsuit

You don't get rid of traffic by reducing lanes. All you accomplish is to make the existing traffic more dense. This leads to all sorts of other unwanted byproducts, such as road rage and increased accident rates.

Re: “Penrose-St. Francis Health Service rethinking $550 million hospital project

This location never made sense given the location of the other two hospitals. It needs to be farther to the Northwest (perhaps in one of those former business parks) or on the Southeast side of the city.

Re: “Is the Olympic scandal damaging the city's image?

Other than some people on Tejon street no one in this country even knows that the USOC is based here. The museum might ultimately change that, but it is not today's reality.

Re: “Colorado's Amendment 71 violates the U.S. Constitution, federal judge says

Amendment 71 was intended to offset the overabundance of legislative influence that the Denver/Boulder corridor has over the rest of Colorado. Mob rule is never a good thing.

Re: “Officer who testified in Maketa case says he misspoke

The Sheriff of El Paso County shouldn't be an elected position. Residents need integrity and honest in this position, something a political office cannot provide.
