Re: “Pain management

The Colorado Springs City Council has been remiss in not dealing with this fiasco before now. They DO have and HAVE had options. Last year the City Manager suggested raising fees and generating revenue for the city in addition to making cuts. The Council rejected the idea. The citizen's committee suggested putting a "de-Tabor" issue on the spring ballot, and that idea too was rejected. This City Council is the body that will be remembered for dismantling our fair city because they did not have the vision, creativity, or backbone to go up against the penny-pinching, ultral right concervatives in El Paso county. Yet they still want to give the USOC deal more city funds?! Watch out everyone, here go our property values.
