Re: “City to take on cannabis clubs, and more

Dont mean to be negative nancy but the marijuana dispesing game legit wise is terribly expensive, license fees upon rules and regulations, taxes the list goes on and on. Laws are meant to be followed, wanna sell marijuana/hash? Get a license to sell marijuana like the other 900 or so licensed dispensaries in the state. Dont cut corners- get license- period. I will say A64 club is the one needle in the haystack. And should be the ideal model for clubs across the state. At least they follow the rules and have been since they opened, kudos to that!!

Re: “City to take on cannabis clubs, and more

A64 is legit, the other clubs are selling marijuana, no packaging requirements, no oversite, no grow requirements, no hash production requirements, nothing that all the dispensaries have to follow as far as rules and reggulations. No license fees and you CAN be a felon. So so soooooooo unfair to the people really trying to play by the rules(dispensary owners). I hope he does crack down, this has gone on wayyyyy too long, there is a reasin the clubs
are banned in other cities

Re: “El Paso County will likely ban marijuana social clubs

I Have simpler solution. Get the licenses needed to sell marijuana. Dont try to go around the law, just follow it. The Dispensaries had to pay fees upon fees, background checks, background on funds check, yearly huge licensing fees, to sell marijuana. Most clubs sell marijuana w/out all the fees, which is totally unfair to the way the law was if the clubs were solely byob, then it shouldnt be an issue, but they are not following the rules. Apply for License, go through the PROCESS...or Open a bar, allow marijuana smoking, open a food place/coffee shop that allows marijuana smoking.... Selling it at clubs is against the law. Denver has banned the clubs, Pueblo has banned the clubs, El paso has banned the clubs, Colorado springs will hopefully ban the clubs that are selling to the public, w/out proper licenses, MED uninforced/ State uninforced, does the state see who/what/where the product is coming from even?, Retail shops pay 25% excess tax, do the clubs?(nope) no licenses for any of it, yet clubs still seem to sell shatter/wax/concentrates, joints, cannabis at Colorado Springs that is, soon the city council will wake up.

Re: “CannaBiz: What California could mean for Colorado

The feds sometime this year said they did NOT WANT LARGE SCALE GROWS, THEY DID NOT WANT 100s of acres to be put up for Marijuana grows. The California cities decided to go against the feds and what did the feds do?? I'm Gonna seize your lands! Everyone that got a letter have mega grows. and on that note of LARGE outdoor grows....lets just say you were lost on a back road in Cali and then out of no where you started seeing 15ft marijuana plants on both sides of the road...doncha think you would remember where you were, you might even tell some friends about this special road......HOW DO YOU REGULATE 100 acres of Marijuana??!! --That is the problem. LARGE SCALE GROWS.
