Re: “'There's a lot of money being made'

Under Our Skin is wonderful! I know it will reach out and hopefully to some who can make a direct change in "how we are treated" The film will make a difference I truly believe that. I am hoping it will be shown here in tick city where we have whole neighborhoods who have chronic lyme disease and its been ignored! Thank for the hope!

Re: “Long Story Short

It is so true, we need help. If only there would be some good direction and less fighting on how. We need action now. I went to a lyme meeting once given my a "lyme expert" who stood in front of about 100 people and told us out right that she doesn't even bother sending in any report when she knows someone has lyme disease! Also is a believer that there is no Chronic lyme! Hog wash! She hasn't spent a day in my shoes then.

Re: “The tick and the time bomb

I am so glad for the excellant story. I have chronic lyme misdiagnoised for 5 years. Now I have been on antiboitics for 14 months. It has gotten better but still have some bad days. I had 2 operations that the doctors thought would take care of my pain. WRONG!! My regular doc told me there was nothing wrong with me i was just depressed! I had ask for a lyme test and to have it sent to the IGenex lab in California. She hollered and I mean holler at me for 10 minutes and she absolutley not. I was so angry! Finally found a doc that would and he referred me to a doc in another town that started my way to health. I am a friend of Tracie's met her and now work with her to help set up local awarness of lyme. I feel so gratful to her and Leslie for their dedication to helping others. I am truly blessed to have her up and personal. May our disease and our struggles be worth it some day when we see lyme patients getting help like everyone else for their diseases.Thank you again for such a good article!
