We were invited to sample sliders and a side at new food truck Marlee Rae's Killer Eats.

The classic slider gets ketchup made in-house with whole grape tomatoes, notably fresher and more vegetal than bottled ketchup. An 80 percent lean beef blend of coarse-ground brisket, short rib and sirloin adds a mighty beef flavor.

Made with a Jameson-based whiskey glaze, the bourbon barrel slider's a top seller. That pretzel roll from Delicias Bakery is no joke, either.

The brewhouse slider gets bacon, onions and a beer-cheese sauce. Bonus: that sauce is made from beer from the brewery they're at, in this case Brass Brewing's Battle Buddy Brown.
