Mountain Metropolitan Transit kicked fall transit changes into gear Sept. 30, adding two new routes and increasing the frequency of two others. Route 18 opened on Union Boulevard between Boulder Street and Montebello Drive, and Route 40 opened on Voyager Parkway from the Voyager Parkway Transfer Center to Pikes Peak Community College — Rampart Campus. Weekday, daytime frequency of Route 1 (Hillside — Hancock Plaza) and Route 27 (S. Academy Blvd. — PPCC) increased to 15 minutes from 30 minutes. Mountain Metro is now also offering a special 31-day pass for $31, available to youths ages 6 to 18, seniors older than 60, and people with disabilities.
