music announcements

Instruments needed for the Salvation Army Red Shield Community Center music program, a safe place for kids to hang out and learn. Currently, 20 students are enrolled and there are only 5 instruments available. Brass especially needed. Also needed are music instructors who can volunteer a few hours to teach. Guitar Circle of Colorado practice and performance group meeting on a regular basis to work on exercises, technique and repertoire developed by Robert Fripp for the Guitar Craft courses on steel string guitars. All experience levels welcome. For details, call 499-0766.

Mr. Holland's Opus Foundation accepting old instruments to be refurbished and given to children unable to afford an instrument of their own.
