Re: “Barring a lawsuit, 800 wild horses to be rounded up in Wyoming

It was more than 1200 horses that were rounded up. Ran for miles, the older and very pregnant and young perished during or later in the holding pens. Many of the stallions died during botched castration. They say only 4% died, it was more like 20% not counting the new foals born in awful captive conditions that died before being accounted for. Now, also invited by our Sec. Of Interior the Gov wants the other few minor herds gone. So far in court this has been stopped. Colorado only has 2 main herds left in a area that has 8200 cattle leasing with land desinated for our horses. There are just over 300 left in these areas. 300 out of 5000 in 2002, out of 10,000 plus in the 1980's. The more you learn about Wild Native to North American horses the more you will be amazed. Speak up. Colorado has on a plan to have 0 within 10 years.
