Re: “Power struggle

327000 birds and bats die from coal energy per year. 7000 birds and bats from wind energy. Horses are not skittish animals that will even worry about a power line or any noise it might make. I own10 of them ride them right down the roads out here in Falcon they don't jump from the loud traffic. Military has to buy 25% of their energy from renewable sources and we have four bases here that need to buy it. Colorado Government requires 30% of their energy to be renewable. Just to keep up with that demand these are needed and this won't be the last one proposed south of the same area is another hill with empty land just prime for another one. When I was a kid and saw my first big wind mill I thought it was really cool looking and always have. Drove off the highway on dirt roads to go under them in Burlington. Bet money if they are built people will drive out to see them. Albert Einstein said 50 year ago. "New type of thinking is essential if mankind is to survive and move towards higher levels." This is the only way we pass on a world to our grand children yet to come.
