Re: “'I'm done with him'

You know, I think that the opening sentence of Zubeck's article says it best "Leaders at the Air Force Academy seem to think that dealing with some complaints about religious bias isn't worth their time." This is obvious from the Superintendent's comment that he wishes Mikey Weinstein's e-mails to him be blocked: "I'm done with him." In essence he is declaring that respect for various religious beliefs or non-belief is unimportant to USAFA. In such an intolerant atmosphere, organizations such as MRFF are often the only place cadets and others can turn to when they are persecuted or made to feel uncomfortable. Blocking the concerns brought forward sends the message that the Superintendent either doesn't care what happens on campus or secretly supports the efforts of the radical Christian evangelicals. And if he doesn't care about the inappropriate religious atmosphere, what other offences does Lt Gen Gould want to ignore?? Sexual assaults. Hazing. Cheating. Gender or racial persecution. It’s a potential Pandora's box of ugliness the AF needs to address.

Thanks to MRFF for trying to keep them honest and trying to open everyone's eyes as to what is going on out there.
