One man's meat...

Since the first graffiti message was written on the city gates, official orthodoxy"and freedom of expression have been in conflict. "Art" is often at odds with official truth,"no matter what the society, government, religion, political system or culture. We now revere many artistic expressions that once were deemed scandalous, heretical, deviant, unpatriotic or immoral. Is it the function of art to reaffirm perceived morality, or to bring it into question?
