Cimarron Hills has a new Asian eatery. O’Sae Sushi Ramen Bistro, specializing in Japanese and Indonesian cuisine, has replaced Taste of Korea. Manager Edgar Sidhiwai says it opened in late November. Recently moved from North Dakota, Sidhiwai’s been managing restaurants for about 13 years, moving across Japanese, Thai and Chinese spots.

Sidhiwai says everything from soups to dumplings is made from scratch in-house. As the restaurant still is in its early days, the sushi offerings aren’t focused on lesser-seen fish — they want to draw in a stable customer base first — but they hope to expand down the line. Sidhiwai says they’re also pursuing a liquor license and hope to start serving alcohol in a few months.
