Outdoor concerts for your summer calendar

Ear to the air

As someone who prefers to stay home 95 percent of the time, it took my fiancé some dragging to get me to the Colorado Springs Philharmonic's Fourth of July celebration in Memorial Park. How glad I am that he did. I squealed at the fireworks, of course, but now "1812 Overture" is on heavy rotation on my Spotify playlist, as well it should be.

With that in mind, below is a round up of outdoor concerts happening this summer. And there are more to come, as organizers confirm upcoming series, so keep an eye on the Indy listings, or send what we've missed to listings@csindy.com.
